Special notes
- URSA MAJOR AND URSA MINOR STUDENTS will register at the Fort Richardson Youth Services gym, Building 297. Road closures planned during the week of registration have cut off access to the schools.
- CHESTER VALLEY STUDENTS will register at Begich Middle School and SAND LAKE STUDENTS will register at Dimond High School because of school construction.
- The state of Alaska requires students in kindergarten through 6th grade to be vaccinated against varicella, commonly known as chickenpox, before they enroll in the 2009-10 school year. The new requirement is for two varicella vaccines, however, students who are in the waiting period between doses (28-112 days) will not be excluded until day 113. Please bring an updated shot record to registration.
- Proof of residency (utility bill, phone bill, etc.) will be verified for the following situations: all students in any school involved in a boundary change; any new to school/new to district student (including kindergarten) throughout the school year; and all zone exemptions.
- Families who are out of town on these dates may register at school upon their return. Students who have not registered will not be placed on a class list.
