Language Arts

Reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing are the language arts. Their fundamental purpose is to equip all students with the strategies and skills to make sense of self, others, and of the world. The understandings achieved will be profoundly influenced by the ways in which we use the language arts as tools for thought and communication.
