Library Curriculum
Welcome to the new Library Curriculum page of the ASD Library Program. There has not been a curriculum coordinator for the ASD libraries in a number of years and I am excited to be building this support structure to assist in the ASD Libraries mission to "support the educational goals of the Anchorage School District by providing resources that meet the educational and personal needs of students and staff, and by ensuring that all students are provided instruction and assistance that encourage their becoming lifelong learners and library users." (Anchorage School Board policy 346.31 Mission and Objectives Section - 345.31 approved October 11, 1993.)
Because this is a new position, it is currently under construction, as is this Web site. Please be patient as we work to determine what curriculum needs we have and to provide the resources that are needed here. In the mean time, I hope you find the following resources helpful:
