Strengths
Fall 2006 monitoring found eight strengths in student files:
- The files were very well organized
- Material in the files were placed in chronological order
- Progress reports were noted in the students’ files
- Every student reviewed had an IEP
- Access forms are present and in use
- Procedural Safeguards are provided and available to staff and parents
- Use of Prior Written Notices are good
Errors
Fall 2006 monitoring found errors in:
- Evaluation Summary and Eligibility Reports (ESER)
- Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance
(PLAAFP)
- Repeat errors from previous monitoring
- Writing measurable goals and objectives
