Alaska Native and American Indian Heritage Month - November 2009
Each November the nation celebrates Alaska Native/American Indian Heritage Month. For the past seven years, Anchorage has joined the rest of the nation through a variety of community and school activities. Alaska Native/American Indian Heritage Month is honored throughout our city. For more information visit the organization's Web site at www.alaskanativeheritagemonth.com.

answer questions, and share his/her Native culture in the classroom. All presentations
