How to establish an ASD email account
District email accounts are available to all Anchorage School District staff. Follow these steps to have an email account set up:
- Obtain and complete an ASD Staff Internet User Agreement.
- The original copy of the user agreement goes to Human Resources to be included in the employee's permanent file and a copy is faxed to the IT Center at 742-4644.
- Employees should review the ASD Style Guide for code of conduct and email etiquette.
Your account should be available one to two weeks after the receipt of your completed Staff Internet User Agreement.
Your username will be lastname_firstname (Smith_John). Your complete email address will be firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Anchorage School District does not provide email accounts for students. However, students choosing to use email as part of their studies, and/or while using ASD equipment/facilities must obtain and complete an ASD Student Internet User Agreement and strictly adhere to the ASD Internet Guidelines.
