Moving out of the Anchorage School District?

When moving to a new school your student's records will need to be transferred; however most schools do not allow parents to transport them as they won't be considered "official". Check with the school your child will be transferring to for their specific process -- most likely they will contact the school here in Anchorage and request an official record. To facilitate this process know your current school's name, address, phone and fax numbers. Staff is typically back in the office in mid-August to help with transferring records after the summer break.

The Anchorage School District is committed to providing
equal educational and employment opportunities, services and benefits
to all students and employees.
