Collegial Cohorts Icon What are they?

  • Small groups of teachers with similar teaching assignments, organized by grade level and/or content

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development, facilitated by an AEA/ASD Facilitator

  • Topic-driven discussion groups

    • Monthly face-to-face meetings

    • Electronic interaction on Moodle

Who can participate?

  • Anyone desirous of growing in their professional practice through collegial conversation 

 

How can I get involved?

  • Complete the Mentor Communication Skills class to become a qualified mentor/facilitator.
  • Notify the Professional Learning Department (PLD) of your desire to facilitate
  • Participate in Collegial Cohort facilitator training

 

What’s in it for you?

  • Collaboration time with veteran peers
