Sand Lake Elementary School

Addition and Renewal

In April 2008 voters approved a bond proposition that included funding for addition to and renewal of Sand Lake Elementary School. The school was originally built in 1958 and houses 655 students. Sand Lake is the largest ASD elementary school and is currently at 127 percent capacity. Traffic congestion and location of building’s air intake vents next to parking lot require parents to wait on active collector street.
