Looking for ways to practice basic skills over the summer? The Summer Skill-Building Program is designed especially with middle school students in mind. Classes start at 8:15 a.m. and end at 12:15 p.m. After working hard all morning, students can enjoy the long, summer afternoons with their family and friends. All students are enrolled in math, reading, and writing classes. Instruction is geared toward the state standards. This program provides students the opportunity to review the fundamentals and boost their confidence levels. The first day for students is Wednesday, June 10 and the last day is Wednesday, July 15. (There is no school on Friday, July 3.)
Registration is a simple 4-step process!
- Complete the student application at right
- Attach a check payable to the Anchorage School District for $85.00
- If applicable, fill out a fee waiver and/or People Mover bus pass request on the back side of this application
- Turn in paperwork by May 21, 2009, to your home school
