Register returning ASD students
Returning students can be registered May 2 - 27 or July 25 - Aug. 21 through Zangle ParentConnection for the 2016-17 school year. New-to-district students or students moving over the summer will need to register in-person at their school during districtwide registration in August. Parents of middle and high school students can register online to save time, but students will still have an opportunity to visit their school to pick up class schedules, locker combinations and parking permits, and to get ID photos taken. If you have questions about online registration, please contact your child’s school.
If registering in-person, please review the steps below
1. Gather and complete documents
Print and complete forms in the registration packet below. These are required each year. Bring them with you to registration. Please note that parents will be given a pre-filled enrollment form at registration that shows current information. Please review this form at registration and note any changes.
- Registration packet - (print double-sided)
Other forms may be required for parent permission, activity participation and program eligibility. These forms will also be available at registration. See the Forms page for more forms and translated versions.
Students moving to a new neighborhood school
Students already enrolled in the Anchorage School District who are moving to a new neighborhood school will need to bring proof of residency (utility bill, real estate contract or lease agreement) and a new enrollment form to registration.
Bring completed documents to your school to register. These resources will help you locate your school:
